Work Place Mobbing – Cape Town South Africa

Its Monday morning and I turn up to my work desk, switch on the computer and start my day away  just like all the others in the past. Little did I know I was in for a start of what would be drama for possibly the rest of my life… The machine loads up and I click away at the mouse.

Within a few minutes I could tell that my colleagues were able to see my screen from where they were sitting at their desks. As if there was some kind of screen sharing software installed.

I as being accused of being a fraud and a cheat and this was being “broadcast” to everyone in the office to see for themselves.

Will have to take some blame for the way I reacted, I just started to type some gibberish and complete nonsense out of sheer discomfort and at-least to save face. The idea was that at-least I would seem or appear to be busy and not on Facebook or some other random non work website. disconnected my network connection, used one screen instead of two.
This did not help, the reaction from the entire office continued to state you are not working and whats more I have been doing this sort of thing for a long time.

A couple of things became very clear
1) I did not have any privacy at my work machine and there was some kind of surveillance (illegal by the way)
2) The entire office was being coaxed or pulled in to bear witness, a joint team effort
3) My integrity was being unfairly questioned or challenged, was being humiliated (no process of employment dispute )
4) A clear violation of any kind of rights was taking place (privacy, defamation of character, completely acting out of any professional process)

How did we get to this point?
Its only natural that people leave a company should they believe things would work out better elsewhere. Its only natural that with unhappiness that has been building up for a long time, it gets to a point where one says “I would rather further my career elsewhere”. Surely this would mean the employee wants no more, no more of whatever the problems are. NO MORE!

And by handing in a formal resignation, I thought the focus would be completing whatever remains of my responsibilities IN PEACE (no illegal surveillance, no rumors, no mobbing, no drama).

Sadly this day turned out to be only the beginning. I would from this day be accused of only a few things 1) beign a complete fraud , someone who is not even qualified to do his job 2)being a money grabbing greedy incompetent con who has been doing this for close to 10 years.

What is workplace mobbing? Its when an employee is strategically forced to leave but by getting everyone involved. Literally everyone was involved, I would become an almost daily topic due to having no privacy at work and sadly in my private home as well.

I only wished it was work place mobbing, in the months that followed, it would turn out my entire life is being mobbed aka organized stalking.
